Three Hour Tour

The Three Hour Tour is the perfect package if you are short on time or money.  Tailored to your schedule, the Three Hour Tour focuses on the prime times for catching fish on The New River.  The fishing is best from early morning to early afternoon, or late afternoon to early evening, so you pick the time that best fits your schedule.  With our expert fishing guides taking you right to the bite, you are sure to hook a New River Smallmouth or a genetically unique New River Walleye.  Do all of your catchin' from the comfort of our custom outfitted fishing rigs.

Glade Springs FLY-FISHING School

Our beginner class is the perfect way to learn how to fly-fish because we provide the instruction needed to enjoy the sport on your own. Equipment review, fly selection and use, casting and on-water instruction will be the focus of the beginner’s clinic. Customized instruction, to fit any group’s needs, this is the perfect group activity. For the more advanced angler check out PRO’s Walk –n- Wade trip.

Fly and Float

Spend the morning with one of our fly fishing instructors in an on land clinic then test your skills on one of PRO’s half day float trips. All equipment, tackle, lunch, snacks, and drinks included for this full day adventure.

Float and Fish the Upper New River

Spend a half day with an experienced, professional angler as s/he guides you down the Upper New River. This river is renowned as one of the premier Smallmouth fisheries in the east and with the recent stocking program for Walleye the New is the fishing experience of a lifetime. Reel in your catch from the comfort of cushioned seats on a custom designed fishing raft. Half day trips are approximately four and one half hours on the water and include equipment, snacks, and drinks.

The PRO full day trip on the Upper New River will spend around eight and one half hours on the river floating down a longer section than the half day. The full day float is on the water around eight and one half hours and includes a river side lunch, equipment, snacks, and drinks.

If you want it we got it. The Dusk to Dawn float trips start at day break and we fish until dark. We will cover several more miles of river than the full day and lunch, dinner, snacks, and equipment is included.

Float and Fish the Lower New River

Float and fish Americas Best Whitewater. The New River George offers some of the best smallmouth holes in the world. When the water levels are right (not too high) we fish a 9 to 12 mile stretch of the New while navigating some very impressive rapids. During the summer and fall the river slows making the George the best place to fish. With extra gradient the water tumbles over rocks providing much needed oxygen for the bass to stay more active and feed aggressively. This is a full day trip that includes lunch, equipment, snacks, and drinks.

Float and Fish the Gauley River

On the Gauley River steep drops, technical rapids, and remote setting make it a southern West Virginia favorite. Gauley trips are each truly custom fishing adventures targeting trout, smallmouth, walleye, and musky. Give us a call and we can tell you more about this amazing adventure and we can put you on a call list to let you know when all the conditions are right on the Gauley.

Full Moon Float and Fish

Watch your lunar tables and give us a call to check the conditions for summer and fall full moon. Make sure not to miss your nap because we are staying out late. Have you ever heard that the really big bass are nocturnal feeders? We provide all the equipment and light up the boat for this half day/night float on the upper section of the New River.

Walk-N-Wade Excursion

Take this full day guided hike at one of our favorite local streams. Spin-cast or fly-fish for trout while receiving personalized instruction from one of our knowledgeable guides. Spring (March-May) is prime season wading for stocked trout. Full day trip with all equipment, lunch, drinks, snack and transportation included.

New River Open Smallmouth Tournament

The Resort at Glade Springs has West Virginias best meeting facilities and this trip is a meeting that your associates will never forget! This custom float and fish adventure get you out into nature and is a natural teambuilding activity. The anglers split into groups of two and compete for the biggest, and most fish per boat (not to mention some serious bragging rights) Full or half day trip with all equipment, lunch, drinks, snacks, transprotation, apres awards party, and trophies are all included.
