West Virginia ATV Tours & Guided Trips!
• The Two Hour Tour – If you’re interested in getting just a taste of mud, so to speak, here’s the trip for you. No lunch, few stops, and a great intro to riding off road trails, the two hour tour gets you everything you need and nothing you don’t.
• The Half Day – Three and a half hours from training to “I wanna go again!” You get a little more mountain on this one, complete with sweeping views of the mountains of the Mountain State. Lunch is included, and so is the fun. The Half Day goes in the morning or the afternoon.
• The Full Day – We mean full. Get your orientation on in the morning, and ride the trails until lunch, and then back for more. This one hits every hotspot at Burning Rock, and all the best overlooks. Beyond that, expect to find the hidden gems around our mountains. The Full Day takes you places you never thought you’d go, and gets you muddy in places you didn’t know you had. Guided Trips include helmets, riding permits, off road vehicle rental, and guides. Oh, and lunch for the Half- and Full-Day trips (sorry, Two Hour Tour).
Burning Rock has four different off road vehicles to choose from:

What you can expect to find out there in the treetops:
After fitting your equipment and leaving the Climbing Barn, a short, on-property bus ride takes you to the start of our West Virginia Zip Line Tour.
• All of our zips have dual lines so you can race your friends to the finish.
• All of our lines are calibrated (angled) and use gravity breaks. For maximum speed, the hands free break system allows you to ball-up to go faster or spread your arms and legs out (starfish style) to slow down and adjust your speed.
• Scenic overlooks and sight-seeing perches at all launch points and dismounts.
Night Sky Zip Line Tour
Zip-lining by the light of day is fun, but how about in the black of night? They say everything is faster. OK, maybe not faster, but it sure feels that way. Suddenly reference points are all but gone. Shapes and shadows come out of nowhere. Your sense of hearing and sense of touch leap into overdrive. An otherwise, breezy zip line cruise becomes a white-knuckle plunge across unknown depths.

From the Seasoned Pros, and Weekend Warriors, to the leisurely down the river strolls – We have a perfect West Virginia Rafting Trip for you! Call Pro River Outfitters today, and schedule your next unforgettable West Virginia Rafting Trip!
New River Gorge National River in West Virginia One of the most dramatic whitewater rafting locations in the East is certainly the New River, the oldest river in North America. It flows through a rugged canyon up to 1,300 feet in depth, exposing rocks as old as 330 million years while passing through an area rich in coal mining history.
Lower New River Whitewater Rafting Experience the adventure and fun of a lifetime as you ride the whitewater rapids through West Virginia’s scenic New River Gorge, the “Grand Canyon of the East.” This famed trip on the Lower New runs through the heart of the gorge and underneath the world’s second longest single span arch bridge. It’s a rollicking ride with Class III-V rapids. Minimum age for this trip is 12 years.
Family Fun Rafting on the Upper New River The Upper New is less challenging than the Lower New and is perfect vacation fun for the entire family. You’ll float along mild rapids and lazy pools in your choice of boats – stay in the standard raft for the full trip or switch back and forth between the raft and duckies (inflatable kayaks). Children paddle alone in a single ducky or with a parent in a double ducky. Perfect for families with younger children yet appealing to teens, college students, parents and grandparents – all can enjoy the Upper New together. A calm, peaceful float trip, the Upper New features Class I-III rapids. Minimum age for this trip is 6 years.
World-class Adventures on the Legendary Gauley River Offered select days in September in October
Upper Gauley Whitewater Trip: It’s hard to describe the excitement of the Upper Gauley. This section of river will test you and your teamwork while firing up the adrenaline. Minimum age for this trip is 16 years and most whitewater companies require previous experience – not for the faint of heart or beginners.
Lower Gauley Rafting Trips: The Lower Gauley is more on par with the Lower New in terms of thrills and skill level. It features long, continuous rapids and roller coaster wave trains with powerful hydraulics and boasts more than 45 rapids. Combine that with breathtaking West Virginia canyon scenery and you have a great choice for an adventurous first time rafter, a New River enthusiast looking for the next challenge, or seasoned whitewater rafting veterans. Minimum age for this trip is 15 years.
